LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
The Faculty of Amherst College have concluded that the
beauties of the Library building and lot are sufficiently at-
tractive this year, without me and my cooling draughts; con-
sequently in looking a little to the north, I found a location
in the
Beautiful Grounds of Dr. J. W. Smith,
where may be found in the entertainment, all the delicacies of
the seasons, to which I hope to draw your attention.
PIES,
APPPLE [sic],
LEMON,
CUSTARD,
MINCE,
----
CAKE,
POUND,
DELICATE,
CREAM,
SPUNGE [sic],
and WASHINGTON Cake.
---
JERSEY PEACHES, MELONS, PINE APPLES
AND PEARS.
---
Candies of every description, Ice Creams of dif-
ferent flavor, Roman punches, Sherbets,
Lemonade and Soda-water.
---
Particular attention will be paid to persons that visit the
Garden opposite the Colleges.
